Event Terms & Conditions

  1. Booking and Deposit
    1. A booking is not confirmed until the required deposit has been received.
    2. All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances, including participant cancellation.
    3. By paying the deposit, the participant agrees to these Terms & Conditions.
  2. Payment Schedule
    1. Full payment must be received no later than six (6) weeks prior to the event start date.
    2. Failure to pay the balance by the stated due date may result in cancellation of the booking.
    3. The organiser reserves the right to cancel any booking where payment has not been received in full by the due date.
    4. Any payments made prior to cancellation due to non-payment may be retained by the organiser.
  3. Participant Cancellations
    1. Deposits are non-refundable.
    2. No refunds will be provided for cancellations made within six (6) weeks of the event.
    3. No refunds will be given for unused services, missed activities, late arrivals, or early departures.
  4. Travel Arrangements
    1. Participants are responsible for arranging and paying for their own flights, visas, passports, travel insurance, airport transfers (unless otherwise specified), and any related travel requirements.
    2. The organiser accepts no responsibility for flight cancellations, delays, missed connections, denied boarding, visa issues, passport issues, or any other travel disruptions.
    3. Participants are strongly advised to purchase comprehensive travel insurance.
  5. Accommodation
    1. Accommodation will be allocated by the organiser.
    2. Specific room types, room numbers, views, bedding configurations, or hotel locations cannot be guaranteed.
    3. Accommodation details may be changed where necessary due to operational requirements.
  6. Event Changes
    1. The organiser reserves the right to modify the event itinerary, venue, accommodation, activities, speakers, schedules, or services where reasonably necessary.
    2. Such changes shall not entitle participants to a refund.
  7. Force Majeure
    1. The organiser shall not be liable for cancellations, delays, interruptions, or changes caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:
      • Natural disasters
      • Extreme weather
      • Pandemics or public health emergencies
      • Government restrictions
      • Civil unrest
      • Acts of terrorism
      • Transportation disruptions
      • Utility failures
    2. Refunds in such circumstances shall be at the organiser’s sole discretion.
  8. Personal Responsibility
    1. Participants attend the event at their own risk.
    2. Participants are responsible for ensuring they are physically and medically fit to attend and participate in any activities.
    3. The organiser accepts no liability for injuries, illness, accidents, losses, damages, or expenses incurred during the event except where required by law.
  9. Personal Property
    1. Participants are responsible for their own belongings at all times.
    2. The organiser accepts no responsibility for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.
  10. Participant Conduct
    1. Participants are expected to behave respectfully toward fellow attendees, staff, venues, hotel personnel, and local communities.
    2. Participants must comply with all hotel, venue, and local regulations, including policies relating to noise levels, smoking, alcohol consumption, use of facilities, and occupancy limits.
    3. Participants are expected to treat hotel property, furnishings, and facilities with care and consideration.
    4. Any damage caused to hotel property, event venues, or third-party property by a participant may result in the participant being held personally responsible for repair, replacement, cleaning, or associated costs.
    5. Excessive noise, disruptive behaviour, harassment, vandalism, or conduct that negatively impacts other guests, staff, or the reputation of the event may result in removal from the event or accommodation.
    6. The organiser reserves the right to remove any participant whose behaviour is disruptive, unsafe, abusive, discriminatory, illegal, or otherwise inappropriate.
    7. No refund will be provided in such circumstances.
  11. Photography and Videography
    1. Photographs and video recordings may be taken throughout the event.
    2. By attending, participants grant permission for their image, voice, and likeness to be used in promotional, marketing, social media, and future event materials without compensation.
    3. Participants who do not wish to appear in photographs or videos should notify the organiser in advance and make reasonable efforts to avoid designated photography and filming areas.
  12. Alcohol and Activities
    1. Participants are responsible for their own decisions regarding alcohol consumption and personal activities.
    2. The organiser accepts no liability for incidents arising from intoxication, reckless behaviour, or participation in activities outside the official event programme.
  13. Limitation of Liability
    1. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the organiser’s total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the participant for the event.
    2. The organiser shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental, or special damages.
  14. Acceptance
    1. Payment of any deposit or event fee constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
    2. Participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions before booking.

Política de Privacidad y Términos Legales

1. Responsable del Tratamiento

La entidad responsable es Tiny Tots School, con domicilio en Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

2. Datos que Recopilamos

La academia recopila datos identificativos y académicos necesarios para la prestación del servicio docente. Según el registro de actividades de tratamiento, las categorías incluyen: • Datos identificativos y de contacto: Nombre, apellidos, dirección postal, correo electrónico y teléfono. • Información académica y profesional: Nivel de inglés, curso asignado y expediente del alumno. • Características personales: Edad de los estudiantes (dato crítico para la validez del consentimiento).

3. Finalidad del Tratamiento

La finalidad principal es la gestión integral de la actividad educativa. En el caso de Tiny Tots School, esto se traduce en la gestión de matrículas, control de asistencia, evaluación del progreso pedagógico y comunicaciones administrativas.

4. Base Legal (Licitud del Tratamiento)

El tratamiento se fundamenta en las condiciones de licitud del Artículo 6 del RGPD. Para la academia, la base principal es la ejecución del contrato de enseñanza y, subsidiariamente, el consentimiento (especialmente para el envío de comunicaciones comerciales no vinculadas al curso) y el cumplimiento de obligaciones legales educativas.

5. Conservación de Datos

Los datos se conservarán mientras dure la relación contractual y, posteriormente, durante los plazos de prescripción legal. El Artículo DF2 de la Orden 376/2021 señala un estándar aplicable en el ámbito educativo: «Los datos personales proporcionados se conservarán por el siguiente periodo: Periodo de 6 años.» Este plazo es coherente con las obligaciones de custodia de expedientes académicos y responsabilidades derivadas de la prestación del servicio.

6. Derechos de los Interesados

Los usuarios pueden ejercer sus derechos de acceso, rectificación, supresión, oposición, limitación y portabilidad. Para Tiny Tots School, el canal habilitado es: heidi@ttenglishacademy.com.

7. Seguridad de los Datos

La academia garantiza la implementación de medidas de seguridad técnicas y organizativas. «adoptándose las medidas de índole técnica y organizativas necesarias que garancen la seguridad de los datos de carácter personal proporcionados, que eviten su alteración, pérdida, tratamiento o acceso no autorizado, la confidencialidad, integridad, disponibilidad y resiliencia permanentes de los sistemas y servicios de tratamiento.»

8. Compartir Datos y Encargados del Tratamiento

Se informa que no se venden datos a terceros. No obstante, para la operativa diaria (como plataformas de gestión educativa o servicios de hosting), se recurre a encargados del tratamiento.
